Spicy Chicken and Peaches


1½ cups Jake & Amos Peach Halves, chopped
4 cloves garlic, pressed
1 ½ cups orange juice
2 tablespoons distilled white vinegar
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 ½ tsp nutmeg
½ tsp red pepper flakes
2 tsp dried basil
salt and pepper to taste
4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves, cubed
2 tablespoons flour
3 tablespoons butter


Place all ingredients except chicken, flour and butter in a large saucepan. Bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce to medium low heat and simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Meanwhile, season chicken with salt and pepper and then dust with flour. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium high heat. Shake the excess flour off chicken and place in skillet, cooking until lightly brown on both sides but still pink in center. Season peach sauce with salt and pepper and pour over chicken. Let chicken simmer, covered, over medium low heat for 15 minutes until the chicken is cooked through. Serve.?
